Auckland GAA Finals

Witness the best of Gaelic games at the New Zealand GAA Club championship.

The top teams from around the country will come together in Auckland on Saturday, March 11 and Sunday March 12 to play for the National Titles.

Teams confirmed for Senior Men’s and Ladies Gaelic Football are Auckland League winners (Celtic for Mens and Ladies), Auckland Championship winners (Harps for Ladies and St Pats Emerald City for Men’s), Wellington and Christchurch McKennas.

The Senior Hurling Competition will involve Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch McKennas. The Camogie Competition will be a one-off Final between Auckland and a combination of Canterbury and Wellington –  or as we are referring to them Cantingburyton.

There is a Men’s and Ladies Junior 7 a-side competition also where new and old (literally!) take the field. We are delighted to welcome for the Men’s Competition Cusacks from Christchurch, Wellington B, Taranaki, Naomh Criostoir from Hamilton, Counties Manukau as well as the Auckland League Winners, Marist B. A few more teams are yet to confirm involvement. So far the Ladies have confirmed Taranaki and potentially Harps B. A few others are waiting to confirm.
Come along and watch all the Senior action at Seddon Fields’ main pitch and watch all the Junior action on the small pitch on Saturday and all the Finals, including the Junior Finals on the main pitch on Sunday.
